What qualifies me anyhow?

I’m a dually licensed therapist – Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS) – with extensive training and background in supporting and coaching others through communication essentials in relationships, parenting, boundaries, and more. I’m a Level II Certified Anger Management Specialist (CAMS-II) and have worked with countless individuals and groups to effectively nip toxic patterns in the bud and learn to navigate conflict and tough conversations with greater ease. Prior to becoming a therapist, I was a sex-positive sex educator for 7 years. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Hampshire College, and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. If you have any questions about my training or qualifications, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Hi, I’m Jordan!

[She/her pronouns]

I’m a communication coach and community educator… but you might also call me a truth seeker, bullshit excavator, recovering perfectionist, and awkward conversation queen.

I help smart, empathic, self-aware millennials of all genders and identities who crave meaningful in-person connection and dream about being able to show up authentically, but feel suffocated by perfectionism and don’t want to hurt or disappoint anyone.

Perfectionism was a big part of my personal struggle with communication, and impacted my ability to show up authentically in my own life, relationships, and privilege. I was terrified to mess up, which was a major barrier to learning.

I work with folks to loosen the grip of perfectionism so that they may communicate more courageously, connect more authentically, and ultimately live, love, and lead like a boss.

I believe our collective liberation is dependent upon our ability to talk and listen to each other in more radically vulnerable ways, making space for the full range of our human experience with one another.

Transforming silence, shame and shit-talking into compassion, humility, and kindness is hard, but it’s possible. I believe courageous communication empowered by critical awareness, compassion, and curiosity about both ourselves and others will change the world.

Are you down for the revolution but need a little kick in the butt and few extra tools in your kit?
